Overview
The Information section of this site allows users to download information that has been published by Eco2 in support of the Sleaford Renewable Energy Plant proposals. The information consists of the planning application resubmitted in August 2008 (with its Environmental Statement in four volumes) and PPC application documents.
All files are in pdf format. Should you require it, the Adobe Acrobat reader is freely available from here. Users should be aware that some of the files available from this site are very large and will take some time to download (document size is listed with each document title).
If it is more convenient, copies of the Environmental Statement can be purchased in hard copy as a four volume set. These cost £200.00 and can be obtained from the applicant's planning consultants, AXIS). Alternatively, a hard copy of the Non-Technical Summary can be purchased on its own from AXIS for £20.00.

The Environmental Statement (Resubmission)
The Environmental Statement was submitted with the Planning Application in four volumes, described below.Volume 1 - The Main Report
The Environmental Statement Main Report contains:
- the detailed project description;
- an evaluation of the current environment in the area of the proposed development;
- the predicted environmental impacts of the scheme;and
- details of the proposed mitigation measures which would alleviate, compensate for, or remove those impacts identified in the study.

Volumes 2 and 3 - Technical Appendices
These volumes present further details of the methodology and information used in the assessment, detailed technical schedules and, where appropriate, raw data. The various files can be downloaded from here.
Volume 4 - Non Technical Summary
This is a brief description of the proposed development and a summary of the Environmental Statement, expressed in non-technical language. It can be downloaded from here.
The Planning Application (Resubmission)
The Environmental Statement contains the bulk of the technical information in support of the Sleaford REP. The Planning Application documents comprise:
- the planning application forms;
- a design statement on the plant; and
- a description of the applicant's consultation process.

The PPC Application
This is an application to the Environment Agency for a license to operate the plant in line with current legislation regarding sustainable use of resources and emissions to ground, air and water.
