Environmental Statement (Resubmission)
Introduction
The new proposals for Sleaford Renewable Energy Plant aim to address local concerns about the potential impact on visual amenity. Previous commitments to provide off-site planting to screen and break up the distant views of the plant have been improved by changes in architecture that have reduced the height of the buildings themselves.
Industry-standard visual modeling has been used to accurately predict how the plant will look in context, from a variety of viewpoints that are important to the local community. The resulting photo-montages and artists impressions are shown in these pages. Full versions of the photomontages can be downloaded from the information section of this site.
The links in the left-hand margin will show the views that are experienced from the viewpoints marked on the plan below.
